The NT is an international conference established in the 1990s to further develop the field of carbon nanotubes and contribute to society, and has been held annually since the first international conference, NT99, was held in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, in 1999. Today, it has become the world’s largest gathering of researchers conducting cutting-edge research on a variety of nanomaterials, not only carbon nanotubes but also graphene and other 2D materials, making it the most influential conference in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology.

In 2024, the conference will be held as NT24 from 23-28 June 2024 at MIT, Cambridge/Boston, MA, USA NT24 will cover fundamental nanomaterial topics such as synthesis, characterisation, characterisation, spectroscopy, metrology, electron transport, as well as processing, functionalisation, applications development and device technology, life science applications, energy and other application development topics.
