Selected as a Finalist at “IVS2025 LAUNCHPAD” –

Japan’s Premier Startup Pitch Event

On July 3, 2025, we took the stage at the grand finale of IVS2025 LAUNCHPAD, one of Japan’s largest and most prestigious startup pitch events, held at Miyako Messe in Kyoto.

IVS LAUNCHPAD is widely recognized as a gateway for the next generation of entrepreneurs. This year, over 350 companies applied—including approximately 15% from overseas—and only 15 finalists were selected to pitch. Each finalist delivered a six-minute presentation in front of a panel of investors, founders, and business leaders, showcasing their innovation and growth potential.

Takayuki Kimura, from the Business Development Division of CarbonFly Inc., took the stage to present the company’s groundbreaking carbon nanotube mass-production system “Caltema”, along with its bold vision for the space elevator.

While the team did not take home an award, the presentation drew strong interest from attendees, sparking numerous inquiries and conversations following the event.
